Giving Tree
 In the spirit of holiday giving, Toledo Dog Training is having our first annual Giving Tree! The Giving Tree is filled with a variety of dog ornaments. Clients are encouraged to purchase gifts off of our "wishlist", for one of our dog charities. For each gift, or in-kind monetary donation you will receive a paper ornament to place on the tree that you can decorate & personalize.
At the end of the year, each charity will receive their gifts & donations. Show your support for the hardworking & caring dog rescue organizations in our community! We thank you & the dogs thank you for your generosity! Contact us to donate, or come out December 11th from 10-12.
2011 Charities
Golden Retriever Rescue Resource: Golden Retriever Rescue Resource concentrates on Golden Retrievers. As a group, we are passionately devoted to the Golden Retriever breed. All across America, local Golden Retriever organizations are working to save Goldens that show up wandering the streets or in shelters. Our local group primarly concentrates on rescuing "goldens" from the northwest Ohio, eastern Indiana and southern Michigan areas.
Animal House Rescue: The purpose of Animal House Rescue, Inc. is to rescue as many unwanted pets as we possibly can, assess their placement ability, and to place them into good, permanent homes making the best possible match; to provide care and training information on each pet we place. It is our policy that placeable pets will not be euthanized due to lack of homes. Instead, we will keep the pet in our program as long as we deem necessary to find a suitable home. Pets that are considered unplaceable due to aggression, advanced age, serious illness or other major problems will be humanely euthanized.

Cavalier Rescue USA: Cavalier Rescue USA is an organized national team of networked volunteers who find loving homes for any Cavalier who has been released to rescue by his or her owner or caretaker. Cavaliers who are given to rescue by owners no longer able to keep them, and those rescued from shelters and pounds, are brought into foster homes where they are evaluated, brought up to date medically, and cared for by dedicated volunteers until a permanent, loving home is found. We carefully screen each of our potential adopters to ensure every dog is placed in a home that is appropriate and specific to the individual dog, so the adoption will be successful for the family and the pet.
