Tricks Express: Dog sports like Agility and Rally are becoming more and more popular as a way to engage your dog and dispose of some of that extra energy.  Very few people know that trick training is also a form of exercise for your dog and can, in fact, burn energy as well as build your relationship.  In fact, there are performance titles for trick dogs just as there are for traditional Obedience and Agility.

This tricks class is the beginning of your path to having a Certified Trick Dog.  In this class, we build on the skills you have already gained in the Beginner class by using positive reinforcement to increase your dog’s repertoire of reliable behaviors and have a lot of fun doing it.

The class will consist of learning a few single one behavior tricks per week and working on a more complex tricks over the entire course which will involve chaining behaviors together.  At the end of the course, depending on your previous repertoire of behaviors, you may even be able to apply for your Novice Trick Dog Performance Title!  Best of all, students will have input on what tricks they want to learn in class based on the certified list, so this class will never be the same class twice!  You can take it again and again and earn even more titles with your dog.  Taught by Jamie.
