Frisbee/Disc Workshop-October 2, 2010 10-2pm We are privileged to have Scott & Deanna Jonesfor one day to put on a wonderful frisbee dog workshop. This one day workshop will introduce you & your dog to a life of playing frisbee for fun, or to compete in the growing sport. Do you want to see some disc dogs in action? Topics Covered: What discs to use-Getting your dog excited-Rollers-How to throw a disc-Disc catch-Recall-Getting distance & having your dog catch & a mini competition!
This workshop will be limited to 20 dog & handler teams & 5 non participating people, so sign up early! Held outdoors if weather permits. Pizza lunch & drink provided. Please feel free to bring a portable dog kennel.

Scott & Deanna Bio: Owners of one of the best dogs in the Distance and Accuracy (toss and fetch) competitions in the Midwest Bolaero a 7-year-old Black Lab (Disc maniac). 7 time world finalist team in Skyhoundz, IDDHA, and UFO with five out of seven top 4th place finishes and 2009 UFO World All Star Toss and Catch Champion. May thru September Deanna & Scott load up the dogs and hit the road traveling across MI, IN, IL, WI, OH, TN, TX and GA to compete, host, and judge at competitions. Scott is also a certified freestyle judge for IDDHA (International Disc Dog Handlers Association) and USDDN (US Disc Dog Nationals). Scott has judged freestyle at IDDHA World Championships, Skyhoundz North Central Regional’s, and many local events.
