  • Level Assessments: Have you taken dog training classes with another organization?  Or have you trained your dog yourself & think your dog is ready for an intermediate or advanced level class?  If so, you must register for our Training Level Assessment to find out which class you & your dog are eligible to sign up for.
    • Or, you may enroll in one of the Beginner dog training classes.  Our beginner classes are small, so we can easily work with you & your dog on more advance training if you cannot attend a level assessment.
  • Level Assessments will occur on a limited basis, and do fill quickly.  $15 per dog
  • 2010 Assessment Dates:
    • 10-9-10 (at our Dexter Bash no registration required)
    • 11-23-2010; 12-14-10-Assessments will take place in 15min increments & preregistration is required.
    •  Sign Up For Your Level Assessment
    •  Current Vaccines (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetalla)
  • Any new student entering Intermediate Classes at Toledo Dog Training is required to attend one-"Getting To Know Toledo Dog Training Orientation" prior to the start of class. This is included in your class tuition.
  • 2010 Getting To Know:
    • 10-16-10 10:30am
    • 12-2-10 6:30pm
    • 12-21-10 6:30pm
  • We are assessing weather your dog is looking at you for instruction, or if your dog is too distracted in the environment at hand.
    • Basic behaviors include: Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Walking On Leash, Being Handled/Pet By A Stranger & Ignoring Other Dogs/People/Distractions.  You are able to use rewards & humane training during the assessment.  Your dog does not need to be perfect, but remember, an assessment is to determine if your dog is able to attend an intermediate class.
  • We do not offer assessments on a private basis.  At our assessments we are using volunteers, dogs & distractions.
