Group Classes & Private Behavioral Training-
Which one is right for me & my dog?

All of our core group dog training classes are for dogs that are not fearful, or reactive around other dogs, or humans (any age), do not lunge and bark at other dogs/people & are not fearful if a dog or human passes or approaches.  If  your dog is not appropriate for our core classes, we do offer private instruction to address these issues & also offer occasional Reactive Rover & Shy Soul Classes.

 Is your dog under 5 months of age at the start of class?
  • Yes-Enroll in Puppy Class today! 
  • No-Enroll in Beginner Class today! 
    • If you feel your dog is already advance around distractions & other dogs & would like to try to test out of our Level One Class, sign up for our Level Assessment to find out which class is best suited to meet your needs. Or, you may enroll in one of the Beginner dog training classes.
  • Our beginner classes are small, so we can easily work with you & your dog on more advance training if you cannot attend a level assessment.
  • Yes or No-Do you do better with one on one attention?  Or maybe you are dealing with some other concerns like separation anxiety, barking, or just managing the household environment.  Private instruction is available to address these issues & more!

Inappropriate or Dangerous dogs: Any dog which, in the opinion of Toledo Dog Training, is reactive, uncontrollable, fearful, unpredictable, or aggressive, in any way a danger to people or dogs will not be allowed in group classes. Trainer, at her discretion, may refuse entry to a dog which is not healthy, is aggressive or fearful, or does not seem suitable for the environment at hand. 

**All dogs enrolling in group class should not be shy or aggressive towards people or other dogs. They should not have any problems if an adult of child approaches to pet, or another dog walks by. If your dog does not fill these requirements, please contact us for private instruction. 

**Please note: dogs that have been trained for any type of bite work or protection cannot enroll in classes at Toledo Dog Training.
